Okay, where would you find a beautiful bluet-eyed girl and a absolutely sexy boy hvaing a chance to share their love forever? Alexis Bledel and Jonathan Jackson (where is he now?)
This movie is an adaptation of Natalie Babbitt's book with the same title. It's a story about a young Winnie Foster as she meets Jesse Tuck who she falls in love with. In every story, there's always a CATCH. In this movie, Jesse's family have been living for hundreds of years. It was all because they drank from the Fountain of Youth. Other poeple have tried to uncover the mystery of the fountain but it seems that the Tucks have sheltered it well for some reasons.
Winnie's love for Jesse is growing stronger and they talked about living and LOVING together forever. When faced with this decision however, Angus talked to Winnie and gave her some insights on what was it like to live forever.
“Don’t be afraid of death, Winnie. Be afraid of the unlived life. You don’t have to live forever. You just have to live.”
I have watched so many movies but there's something special about how William Hurt delievered these lines in this video, see below.
In the end... It all depends on Winnie to make a life-changing decision. If she wants to live forever, she can go back to the spring and drink water from it. Can you guess what did she pick?
