June 1, 2011, Umaga na hindi pa tulog

This is my personal countdown to 10 memorable slow dance scenes in a movie. I hope that I could experience even half of the bittersweet, poignant and touching dances I have ever seen here.

10. Peter Pan - For a boy who never grew up, he sure knows a thing or two about being romantic. Who wouldn't want to channel our inner child yearnings and succumb to this magical feeling?

9. Casper - Who wouldn't want to dance with the cutest boy in the crowd? Who also happens to be your besffriend?

8. Center Stage - Try to see 4:30 in the clip on how amazing they executed the routine. He can sweep me off my feet anytime. =P

7. Scent of a Woman - You have got to remember that Al Pacino is blind in this movie and he's trying to teach this lovely young woman to dance the Tango for the first time.

6. Enchanted - Have you seen how they look at each other?

5. Beauty and the Beast - I love the happiness in Beast's eyes and how Belle is looking at him like he's the handsomest man in the world.

4. The Bridges of Madison Country - Two Hollywood legends... one perfect movie... one amazing slow dance.

3. The Notebook - No music, just two hearts starting to beat as one.

2. Horse Whisperer - The stare, the caress, the hands touching... This is what slow dancing is all about. Let Robert Redford teach you.

1. Anna and the King - This is LOVE. You cannot quiet fathom it.

Yun lang. Napanood mo ba lahat sila? Nood ka na. ^___^
